My first movie on the First Day!! We were lucky, my roomie and myself. Left office early only coz we were in the friday mood and didn't feel like working beyond 5pm. Went to the Forum, had a burger coz both of us were famished after a hard day's work :). And went up to PVR just to try our luck for any show on Sunday. And what do we find?? Tickets available for the next available show and that too the last row. I was delirious.
The movie is well shot. Those who haven't watched the south-Indian versions shall surely like it. Many did get confused if the movie is intended to be a comedy or a thriller coz the promos project it as a comedy. Anyway I enjoyed the movie in Hindi as much as I enjoyed it in Kannada and Telugu. Akshay as usual has done a good job. Loved him as the shrink. Vidya too has performed well. The only thing that I did not find impressive is that the song that Vidya sings when she's taken over by the ghost isn't as scary as it is in the South-Indian versions of this movie. And I must say that amongst all the performances by the actresses Shobhna is the best. May be coz she's a professional. You may watch her perform here
