I was once asked at a public forum, What is Romance?
Then I had no answer. The sort of answers that the others, who were asked the same, had given were answers that pertained Husband-Wife relationship. It din’t make much sense to me and I’d bowed out saying “I do not have much idea about romance as I neither have a boy-friend nor a hubby. Whatever I know of, I’m sure, will be known to all of you coz all of you must sure have watched movies.”
While in bed last night I remembered the incident and following thoughts flowed out:
Wake her up at midnight, on a full moon night, show her the ever beautiful moon and wish her, if it’s any occasion. Or you could just say, “You look beautiful!”
This of course needs a very good sense of timing.
One evening when she calls you to say she’ll be late from work and asks you if dinner can be had outside then accept it. If this is the day you aren’t very tired then arrange for a candle light dinner, at home. You could even choose to cook a couple of dishes.
Out of the blue, book a table at one of his/her favorite restaurants/hotel for dinner. Again sense of timing is important.
Sometimes kiss her good night, for no apparent reason. (If you don’t every night.)
Some weekends watch a favorite movie together at home. When there’s a touchy scene you could get all the more cuddly.
If she’s at home on an off, for whatever reasons, try and manage to send flowers. You could even take it along when you’re returning home in the evening. Even a single rose would do the trick.
These may sound kinda materialistic and expensive ways. But these are quick ways. If you can take time out then there are many things that can be done with fewer expenses. It is not the expensive things that get the attention. Rather it is the gesture. A single rose wouldn’t cost you much but that small gesture of yours and the smile on his/her face and glint in the eyes would sure be priceless.

Romance is when you are snoring and the other enjoys it as if you are singing !!

Good one...
Here are some more :
* Going on a bike ride on a freeway when it's slightly drizzling After sometime stop at a Coffee shop and have a cup of hot coffeeee in a single cup ( aankhon mein aankhein milake ;-))
* Some random day send him/her a bouquet of flowers and mention "For no reason at all"
* Having a candle light dinner and "Ek Din aap yun humko mil jayenge :-)" being played in the background..
romance can be every walk of life..it need not be between opposite sex.it can be feeling dervied out something heroic...something which is mysterious...you know wht i am saying right?
