Yesterday was one of those days at work when you feel “Do I need a job like this??” A very hectic day, when compared to my standards. I was in the office for 12 hours. This isn’t something great. What’s great is, I was working for almost 11 hours of the 12. I don’t usually do that. I was frustrated to the core when I left for home. And all through the journey back home I tried finding more and more convincing reasons to come to office today.
A glance outside the window of my bus and I saw a guy carrying a pretty heavy suitcase. “He’s going home. How… nice…”, I thought. And then a sudden sadness engrossed me. This is how my thoughts started flowing after that.
“But I don’t wanna go home. I don’t wanna meet anyone. I do not miss any one. Coz… no one would miss me. No one wants me.”
And then someone sings into my ears, “Na ho tu udas tere paas paas main rahunga zindagi bhar” irony, my life is showing. That was my MP4 player playing the song “Tu mile” from the movie Criminal.
Then I straightened up. “I don’t need anyone either. Why should anyone want me?? I already have myself for myself.”
Well… the song is so very beautiful to take away all the sadness off my mind. Couldn’t ignore but enjoy it.

Was it a half day? ha ha u said u were in office for 12 hrs.
I've clearly stated "when compared to my standards" only to avoid answering such comments. Alas... I couldn't escape it.
I never forget that there are (WERE) people who work all day and all night at my office.
oh oh. People are/were ;) working all day and all night at your office!!!. They are/were crazy. God save then :).
