Thank God!!

Last evening I was in the bus, on my way back home. The bus stopped at one of the traffic lights. I saw a woman was running after another bus(crowded) that was about to stop at the bus stop near by. Since she was a li'l far from the stop she had to run so as not to miss it. She was also carrying a child which looked to be at leat 1.5 yrs old. It isn't easy to carry a child and run and I could see she was finding it difficult to run. And then a thought came to my mind, "Lucky me!! I have got a seat in the bus, which isn't crowded at all. Thank God our Company takes care of our commutation by providing us with busses and cabs."
Then followed, "Our 'Company' provides. Thank God I work for this Company."
"Thank God I got this job"
"Thank God I'm working"
"Thank my parents, who took the pain to give me the best of everything, educate me (in all ways), did not want me to just hold a degree and be a house wife, bear children and spend all my life taking care of my family"
It isn't their duty to educate me or even provide me with the basic necessities, as some of us think (I say this as I have heard a few people make such statements during my college). Not at all. But they did. They gave me the best they could manage. Sacrificed a lot of their wishes, to fulfill mine. All this just coz they love me. Never expecting anything in return.
I don't condemn house wives. But I strongly believe a girl, guys also but since I'm a girl I stress more upon girls, should be given the exposure to the world outside. And working, at any place, will surely give her the opportunity to meet different kinds of people and learn how to deal with them. This makes her more confident and independent.
Today, though away from home I have the confidence that I can take care of my self and tackle any kind of problem I face. And all the credit for this goes to my parents.
Thank you Mom and Dad!! Thank u for all that you have given me. I love you two.
And "Thank you God for them having me as their child"
